We are pleased to introduce Northon Trasmissioni s.r.l., which has been specializing in the study, design and construction of NORTHON transmission couplings since 1959.
Currently a leader among Italian companies in the sector, it has been serving the Italian and international market with a broad line of all types of couplings used in the most different industrial sectors: from steelmaking to energy, ecology and extraction.

Applications
The “NORTHON” couplings were designed to absorb rotational forces, vibrations and to compensate for linear and angular misalignments in the shaft connections of two machines and to maintain them consistently over time. They ensure freedom of movement, safety in power transmission and reliability even under extreme operating conditions.
Delivery times
The availability of a complete line of models (with standard dimensions and rough holes), together with the possibility of creating finished holes conforming to the customer's instructions and the possibility of producing special couplings in quick turnaround times, guarantee that we can even satisfy our customers' most urgent needs.

NORTHON: The best-performing couplings in the power transmission sector
Technical characteristics:
• Exclusive use of first-quality steel
• Special heat treatments
• Precise machining with NC machines
• Dynamic balancing with consequent greater rotation speed
• Working range from -30 °C to +120 °C (standard conditions)
• Special profile of the damping element; which allows a progressive elasticity curve, drastically limiting any oscillation due to start-up shocks (a characteristic valid for PN and Revolution Series RE flexible couplings)
• Application versatility thanks to the possibility of obtaining different mountings through the simple reversal of the toothed hubs in the same coupling.
• The special toothing allows angular shifts of ±1° on each semi-coupling (a characteristic valid for oscillating toothed couplings).
