TITANIUM 231 AC/DC FV

The Titanium 231 AC/DC FV is a single-phase generator with a high duty cycle for intensive use. Multipurpose, it offers 6 TIG welding processes with fully customisable AC waveforms. This allows for perfect control of the electric arc, in any welding situation. The patented GYS ‘Wizard’ modes also guarantee very fine weld beads with maximum productivity on aluminium, steel, stainless steel or copper, with or without filler metal. The TITANIUM 231 AC/DC FV has an intuitive 5-inch colour interface to facilitate access to customised settings and welding seams traceability. The generator is compatible with the BIG App (Business Intelligence by GYS) welding management application. 6 TIG WELDING MODES ● TIG DC - Standard: smooth welding on most ferrous materials. - Pulse: allows parts to be joined while limiting heat input (pulses up to 20 kHz). - FastPulse: pulses up to 20 kHz on special steels. ● TIG AC - Standard: welding of aluminium and its alloys (Al, AlSi, AlMg, AlMn, etc.). - Pulse: precise control of penetration according to the AC frequency setting (pulses up to 2.5 kHz). - Mix: alternating AC and DC current to increase welding speed.
