Automated Docks

Automatic docks have a decisive role in solution otimization, as they reduce AGV downtime during loading and unloading operations. In the loading process, instead of pallets being manually loaded into the cargo box, the automatic dock allows the complete batch of pallets to be prepared in advance, before the AGV arrives. The unloading process follows a similar approach, with pallets being unloaded directly onto the dock conveyors in a single operation, allowing the AGV to be immediately released for a new mission. This not only optimizes the AGV cycle time but also enhances operational safety, as forklift operators do not need to rush to load and unload the cargo when the AGV arrives.
