SMARTMEASURE-AL

The Mitutoyo SmartMeasure-AL is an advanced automation solution designed to optimize industrial measurement processes by integrating seamlessly with the brand's Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) (MiSTAR, CRYSTA-Apex V). This system aims for precision, reliability, and 24/7 operation, increasing throughput and addressing labor shortages. The system is modular, comprising an input rack and pallets (up to 12), but requires the separate addition of a Mitutoyo CMM and a collaborative robot (e.g., FANUC CRX) for part handling. Efficiency and ease of use are central. The Space4Win software and an intuitive graphical user interface (HMI with touch screen) allow for simple management without deep expertise. The operator places the parts, and the system runs autonomously. Smart connectivity is ensured by RFID technology. The RFID tag on each pallet allows the robot to automatically select the appropriate measurement program. Results are displayed (OK/NO OK indicator light) and can be sent to statistical software, or even directly to CNC machines for automatic tool correction. The anti-collision sensor and the easy re-measurement of "NOT OK" parts ensure reliability and flexibility.
