Banyard Zero-Friction Aluminium Billet Heater

Banyard™ Zero Friction Billet Heaters have been developed over several years to provide extruders of aluminium micro tubing and other profiles with billet heating and handling with minimum impact surface damage resulting in higher quality extruded material. The Banyard® Zero Friction heater is enhanced with improved servo-drive technology and now finds extended application in emerging high quality extrusion requirements such as required in the automotive sector. Precision taper heating is achieved by using the Banyard multiple control zone induction coil technology powered by the Inductotherm LFi series low frequency IGBT convertor.
