Information

Panel Server is an industrial gateway dedicated to collecting, consolidating, and making electrical data available at the low‑voltage switchboard level. Designed to modernize installations and secure access to measurements, it combines multi‑protocol gateway functions, embedded datalogging, and a local web server to enable real‑time exploitation of data from energy meters, communicating circuit breakers, wireless sensors, and protection relays. Integrated within EcoStruxure Power architectures, it supports use cases such as energy efficiency, power quality monitoring, predictive maintenance, and multi‑site supervision. The platform provides communication interfaces for field devices: RS‑485 Modbus RTU for meters and I/O modules, Ethernet for Modbus TCP/HTTP(s), and, depending on the configuration, radio links for wireless energy sensors installed inside switchboards. Panel Server acts as a concentrator: it aggregates measurements (kWh, kW, kVA, PF, I, U, THD depending on connected devices), statuses, alarms, and usage counters, then publishes them to upper‑level systems (BMS/SCADA, EMS, cloud platforms) using standard protocols. This interoperability enables existing equipment to become connected and unifies data from devices of different brands or generations.* The embedded web server provides local access to diagnostic pages, trends, alarm logs, and device inventories. Without any additional software, users can visualize major loads, verify measurement consistency, validate communication with meters, or export logs for analysis. The internal datalogger maintains a data buffer in case of network outage; once the connection is restored, historical data is replayed to supervision systems, preventing gaps in time‑series records. On the cybersecurity side, Panel Server implements encrypted communications, user and role management, audit logs, and mechanisms to segment OT/IT networks. These features reduce exposure to intrusions while ensuring traceability of access.
