Information

A leader in stamping and sheet metal assembly simulation, AutoForm enables improvements in stamping feasibility, material usage, and tooling costs from the earliest design phases. A vehicle body in white comprises over 250 sheet metal parts that undergo frequent modifications during development. Many stakeholders from different departments assess feasibility and costs using unconnected systems, resulting in lengthy approval cycles, data inconsistencies, and a heavy reliance on individual experience. This creates risks related to cost, reproducibility, and deadlines. CBP introduces the first collaborative platform combining feasibility and cost assessment of body parts within a single, shared solution. It is the first cloud-based web application to offer a largely automated solution based on a central database. Its key functionality combines historical analysis and business intelligence (machine learning) with simulation. It compares data from previous and ongoing projects, automatically detects changes, and triggers the necessary recalculations. The teams work simultaneously on the same data, ensuring consistency and reliability of decisions, and reducing time to market.
