The proposed product is a modular insulation panel closure, designed for the food industry for the construction of cold rooms and refrigerated warehouses. These components are inserted into sandwich panels made of metal sheets and polyurethane foam, and they lock the panels together to build modular and durable structures.
The product was developed using 100% recycled materials. Production is carried out on fully electric injection presses, resulting in approximately 30% lower energy consumption. Using recycled plastic supports a circular economy approach. Our company overall uses 30% recycled materials and 8% bio-based materials, and packaging (cardboard and pallets) is sourced from recycling channels.
From the design stage, the product was optimized to reduce material volumes while ensuring required performance. Mechanical tests were conducted to validate that recycled materials are compatible with the product's functional requirements. The product is now industrially deployed and manufactured at approximately 500,000 units per year, demonstrating its reliability and capacity to meet large volumes.
