Information
Founded in 1956, FANUC is organized around three core businesses: Factory Automation (FA), Robotics, and Robotics Machinery (Wire EDM, Machining Centers, and Electric Injection Molding). The FA business encompasses core technologies such as CNCs, servomotors, and lasers, which are also applied to the Robotics and Robotics Machinery businesses. IoT/AI technologies are also integrated into all three areas.
FANUC strives to deliver essential value not only to customers but also to society through continuous technological innovation and by fulfilling its social and environmental responsibility in all its business activities.
FANUC employs 10,000 people worldwide (including more than 1,400 dedicated to R&D) and has over 262 subsidiaries. In FANUC factories, more than 4,000 robots manufacture 115,000 robots, 438,000 CNCs and 60,000 machines each year.
