Founded in 1982, Dürr Systems France primarily serves customers in the automotive industry. Located in Guyancourt and Evry Courcouronnes, the company specializes in painting and assembly technologies, covering all key stages of paint shop construction. In addition, specialized coating lines for lithium-ion battery electrodes are part of its portfolio. In 2023, the company acquired Ingecal, based near Lyon, giving Dürr access to calendering technology for electrode production. By 2025, Dürr Systems France S.A.S. employed approximately 50 people in France.
The Dürr Group is a global leader in mechanical engineering and industrial plant solutions, with specific expertise in automation, digitalization, and energy efficiency. Its products, systems, and services enable highly efficient and sustainable manufacturing processes, primarily in the automotive industry, for the production of furniture and wooden houses, as well as in the assembly of medical and electrical products and in battery production. The Dürr Group achieved sales of €4.7 billion in 2024 and currently employs approximately 18,000 people at 130 locations in 32 countries. Following the sale of its environmental technologies division at the end of October 2025, the company is consolidated into three divisions:
• Automotive: Paint technology, final assembly, testing, and filling technology
• Industrial Automation: Assembly and testing systems for automotive components, medical equipment, and consumer goods, as well as balancing technologies and equipment for coating battery electrodes
• Woodworking: Machines and systems for the woodworking industry
