CESI

CESI LINEACT is the research unit of the CESI engineering school.

The research unit anticipates and supports technological transformations in sectors and services related to industry and construction (BTP). Its distinctive feature lies in organizing its research around two interdisciplinary scientific themes and two application areas.

CESI LINEACT currently brings together 93 teacher-researchers, including 17 accredited to supervise research (HDR), 11 research engineers, and 57 PhD students (including 9 international doctoral candidates in joint supervision or co-supervised by CESI faculty), of whom 16% are CIFRE doctoral students. It also includes 6 Heads of Research and Innovation Departments (who are also faculty members), as well as 2 administrative and financial managers and one assistant.
