The iron foundry has been designed to cover a wide range of products in grey iron (EN-GJL-150, 200, 250 and 300), ductile iron (EN-GJS-350-22, 400-18, 400-18 LT, 400-15, 450-10, 500-7, 600-3, 700-2 and 800-2) and Ni Resist (EN-GJLA-XNiCuCr15-6-2). Depending on the weight, dimensions and quantities to be supplied we choose the most suitable moulding line to meet our customers’ needs. In the BMD green sand automatic moulding line we pour up to 90 kg castings in 800x600x(250+250) mm flasks. For smaller quantities or heavier castings we have one IMF no-bake moulding line where we can pour parts up to 1000 kg, with a maximum mould dimension of 1300x1200x(400+400)mm. Because we melt in an induction furnace we are able to have a tight control on chemical composition, supported by spectrometer. Castings can be supplied with or without heat treatment and are, usually, protected against rust.
