Robot Guided Specular Surfaces Inspection

Using the deflectometry principle, detecting defects under shiny or glossy surfaces, can be made visible. To do so, a pattern or multiple patterns, will be projected to the surface and compared with a "golden sample". Differences in the pattern are detected as FEATURES of surface anomalies. Using a robot to apply the pattern and gather the images, empowers the principle to be used even to change geometrical shapes, enabling all future product variations.
