The new, intelligent, patented ICB® active ingredient adapts to the level of humidity in the air, and therefore to the risk of corrosion. Above 55% relative humidity, the risk of corrosion increases. The diffusion of active ingredients, integrated into the film's polymer matrix, increases in proportion to the level of humidity that favors corrosion. Conversely, it decreases when exposure to humidity decreases again. This fine-tuning of active ingredients to specific needs enhances the anti-corrosion effectiveness of the protective film. As the active ingredient has a controlled release, a larger reserve of corrosion inhibitor is available to deposit on metal surfaces during phases of high corrosion risk. Once the parts have arrived at their destination, they can be directly unpacked and used without further preparation steps. The protective layer formed on the metal surface disappears in less than an hour, leaving no residue whatsoever. Anti-corrosion properties comply with TL 8135-0043 level 3.
