The VENTIS-AJe fiber laser uses the latest revolutionary Locus Beam Control (LBC) technology to provide a flexible solution that meets all needs. With a single module AMADA fiber source, the VENTIS-AJe is designed to cut at high speeds for high productivity. Processes such as beam alignment, glass protect control and collision head retraction are now automatic, eliminating subjective manual inspection and improving cutting reliability and consistency. The new patented Soft Joint technology developed by AMADA and featured on the VENTIS-AJe, is a method of holding parts in the sheet without physical micro-joints. Thanks to the thermal effect of the laser beam on the material, the part is held in the sheet by deformation of the material. This significantly reduces the risk of a part tipping over, making the cutting process more reliable. This also means that no rework is required to remove the tabs left by the micro joints. The Soft Joint function can be automatically programmed into the VPSS 4ie software system.
