Research and Develepoment

The institute specializes in research, development and implementation work on improving existing solutions and developing new ones. The Research Laboratory is accredited by the Polish Center for Accreditation Certificate No. AB 054 and is a Notified Body of the European Union No. 1487 in the field of: - raw materials, construction materials and products, - glass and glass products, - assessment of the functional properties of products, - approval of glazing for means of transportation according to UNECE Regulation No. 43, - reaction to fire and spread of fire through external walls, fire resistance, - properties of conventional and alternative fuels, - determination of heavy metal content, - petrographic testing of aggregates, - acoustic testing.
