Yamazaki Mazak Corporation was founded in 1919 in Nagoya, Japan. The company now employs more than 8,300 people worldwide. Yamazaki Mazak has 10 factories, including 5 in Japan and units in the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore and China. The company produces multi-tasking machines, CNC turning centres, vertical and horizontal machining centres, CNC laser cutting machines, flexible manufacturing systems (FMS), CAD/CAM and production management software. A global network of 83 technology and technical centres (15 of which are in Europe) provides extensive local customer support. Our European manufacturing facility in the UK, with 900 employees, is also our European headquarters.
