Y-CAT’s ambition is to develop a system that is completely out of step with the means currently available to protect against the risks of contagion and the COVID-19 pandemic.
The first approaches and the last prototype in production, research has strongly focused on a socially adapted solution. Particle protection devices are available in bulk and for a wide variety of applications. Yet, it seems that no device available on the market is able to meet all the challenges: health, social, economic, global.
Its principle is simple: to pass a curtain of filtered and purified air just in front of the face (Coanda effect). It protects its carrier from particles and strongly limits the handling. Finally, it is possible to eat, drink and remove social distancing.

With a reduced weight and which can still be optimized at about 450 grams, its wearing is simple, comfortable and non-intrusive. Even better, we want to make it an object not only of strong individual protection, but especially of freedom.

Le purificateur d'air personnel Y-CAT apporte une solution simple et très performante de protection des voies respiratoires.
Dans sa conception et son design, les enjeux de liberté et de sociétés sont un point de départ de conception. Au final, la performance de protection dépasse tous nos objectifs.

Le premier marché envisagé, est l'allergie au pollens et graminées, puis le casque de chantiers ventilés, et la micro-mobilité. Ce n'est qu'un début.
